it's official. . . brody's growing up much too fast! today was his 6 month birthday. we can't believe how quickly the time has passed already. we had his 6 month dr. appt today which he enjoyed until the shots at the very end. i think i hate them more than he does. he now weighs 17lbs and is 26 1/2 inches long. the dr. was asking us what types of things he does developmentally, and he's doing everything that he should these days. she put some tongue depressers on the table in front of him, and he went after them right away. they were just out of his reach and he tore the paper off of the table trying to get them. does this look like a happy kid or what?!
he's still a great sleeper, and we are thankful everyday for it! he's sleeping about 12hrs at night and two good naps each day. he's starting to pick up on the sign language that we're showing him. although he doesn't do it yet, he certainly responds to the signs for milk and sleep.
recently he learned that he could put his feet in his mouth, and he's doing that as often as he remembers. i was changing his diaper tonight when he grabbed his feet and put them both in his mouth. i only wished i could've gotten the camera more quickly because it was so cute to see his totally naked body with those little feet in his mouth. of course, i had to get a diaper on him quickly because he IS a boy and could surprise us with a shower at any time!

i wish i was that flexible. he is so cute. i can't believe how big he is.
He is growing so fast! I can't beleive how fast they change in such a short amout of time. We love watching Ella change everyday.
