What a busy weekend we had! Erik had us out in the yard for most of it. It was a beautiful, sunny 90 degrees and perfect to work on the landscaping in the backyard. We successfully planted about 20 feet of red tips (6 bushes) and a yard of dirt. I think we have the bug to continue on to Phase II sometime in the near future.
More importantly, Brody continued as the happy baby that he is! He has become quite enthusiastic in the past few weeks. He'll just start kicking his legs and arms and squealing with delight when one of us walks in the room. Also, he enjoys the animals more and more each day. Jersey allows Brody to pet her, and Shady loves to lick all over him. This weekend we bought a
Bumbo chair for Brody. It's basically a piece of molded foam that allows him to sit more easily. He's not quite sitting on his own, but the chair allows him to do so. No pictures of him in the chair yet, but here's one that we took last weekend of him on his own.
