last week we went to FUMC Round Rock's annual breakfast with Santa event with Emily & Nick. although brody and i both thought we were prepared, we weren't! wow! there was a ton of people there! it was a few hours before we were able to see santa, but in the meantime there were all sorts of arts and crafts to do and a great playground to explore. meeting santa sounded like fun until the big red guy and the long white beard appeared. brody wasn't so excited afterall. . . classic!
we did finally get him to give Santa five, a little less intimidating than sitting on his lap. no permanant damage done, he's still pointing out all of the santas and loves to tell them "hi" . . . from a distance, of course!
