i can't believe another year has passed. i guess i'll be saying that for the rest of my life because they keep moving faster and faster. we celebrated with a family party at the house. for those moms that have big birthday parties in these early years i'm not sure how you do it. just the family alone was enough to overwhelm me. the living room had presents scattered all over it and two busy toddlers running from one fun new toy to the next! then it was on with the cupcakes and hot dogs. judging by the sound naps everyone took, i'd say the party was a success! i hope every year can be this much fun!

Very cute. I think it is pretty amazing that you had the birthday party at all considering you just gave birth a few weeks ago!!!!
we definitely spent sunday recovering from saturday, but it was totally worth it!
we had a great time! i'm so glad brody let reese "help" him open his presents and hand feed him his birthday cupcake! :) happy b-day brody!
i had already forgotten about reese feeding brody his cupcakes! that was so funny!
