as if i need one more thing to keep track of, but here i am reading another funny blog. it's www.dooce.com. i heard about it on oprah. yes, i'm still watching oprah. a few years ago i stopped watching her so much since we were without cable and thus, without a DVR. however, that has now changed. now that i dvr the shows, i can watch the segments i like and skip the rest without feeling a need to be chained to the tv every weekday from 4-5.
anyways, oprah hosted an episode about motherhood, and the author of this blog was one of the speakers. i went out to her site just to check it out, never thinking i'd become a regular reader. her humor is dry and sarcastic and from time to time offensive, but, yes, here i am, reading yet another blog, trying not to add it to my "to do" list and laughing all the same. her bio tells her story if you're interested . . . this girl really supports herself by writing about her daily thoughts and antics. wow! what a world we live in! am i envious?! maybe a little!
