we've been having lots of pool fun this summer! friday nights are "no bath" nights for momma. it's the end of the week, and i've decided to take friday nights off. this summer we're using that extra time to go to the pool on friday nights. it's been lots of fun! brody will jump to someone that's really, really close, and he's getting a little more adventurous with each trip. we go to the different pools on different weeks. it's funny how you can have two pools in one neighborhood, and they each have their own distinct flavor. these pictures are from the "big pool." the other pool has a beach edge where i can sit where brody plays. it's also lots of fun!
by the time emersyn was done eating, the clouds and thunder had rolled in so we just stuck our feet in the edge of the pool for a minute.

and, great idea on the "no bath" friday nights. it might have to be instituted in our home...along with "no cook" nights too!
yep - we're instituting lots of traditions like that. we typically do "no cook" fridays and "breakfast for dinner" sundays. i can't handle the consequences of "popcorn and ice cream" sundays yet, but i'm sure we'll pick up that tradition soon too!
