tunnels

another rainy day . . . really!! out came the tunnels, the watercolors, the brownie mix . . . all things to keep some kiddos happy for another day inside. emersyn had her first taste of the tunnels today. she wants to do everything brody does, and i think she was getting really frustrated because he was playing in these super cool tunnels, and she just couldn't quite make her way inside them. i set her inside the tunnel, and she got the biggest grin on her face!

speaking of wanting to do what her brother does, apparently she wants nothing to do with momma and dadda feeding her anymore. yesterday at lunch she was so frustrated with me giving her peas and squash. she kept looking at brody eating on his own and seemed happy everytime i gave her some puffs. finally i broke up a kashi bar (soft granola bar), and she went to town! i didn't realize a granola bar could be so messy!! add a little sippy cup of water, and there was granola bar paste everywhere . . and a VERY happy little girl too! i have no pictures of this because being the clean freak that i am i was trying to figure out how best to attack the mess rather than capturing the moment!
