i had every intention this afternoon to post some pics from sea world, easter, a surprise visit with reese and matson and memorial day, but then i got tired just thinking about it. . . . so this weekend i'm on vacation . . . please excuse typos . . . i was delighted to find this picture that i had forgotten about . . . i took it at mom & dad's a few weeks ago when we took a quick trip to visit uncle mike. brody and emersyn and uncle mike all loved each other equally, and we enjoyed visiting him at mom & dad's as much as having him here in our house. it was a really great weekend! all that fun resulted in just this one picture on my camera. a lizard -- because little kids really know what's important in life. we can be taking a walk at a great pace and cruisin' along when all of a sudden we come to a screeching halt because while riding at a pretty good pace brody was still able to notice a roly poly meandering along the sidewalk. like i said little kids really know what's important in life . . . slow the pace, spend time outside, laugh, giggle, smile, yelp, jump, skip, run . . . brody shows everything to emersyn, and she loves seeing everything he has to share. it's neat to see their relationship and be able to understand what it was like for our parents to watch us and see how my sisters likely looked at me and i at them before we had the awareness to understand. have i told you today that i love this job called "momma!"
