a few weeks ago our friends barbara and heath were in town visiting from louisianna. when they moved away a few years ago there were six girls in our group, all married and four of us had one child each, all boys. now each of us has two littles, a mix of boys and girls and one of us even has one more on the way. two families couldn't join us this friday night, but the rest of us had a great time catching up and watching our kids interact with each other.
barbara brought a sprinkler hose and candace and i teamed up with some water shooters. you should have heard the laughter and fun busting out of this backyard. it was awesome!
carter and brody hadn't seen each other since they were less than a year old but their temperments were well matched. so much fun to see everyone! we need to do this more often!
