Christmas Past

I just downloaded all of the pictures from December. Whew! This is going to be one big blogging journey. Here we go!

I had forgotten I took these so it was a nice surprise. Somehow decorating the tree and the house didn’t overwhelm me this year. Each night for a week I did a little something, and it all was done at the end of the week.

With five weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas it didn’t feel rushed, and I’d say I enjoyed it more than even last year’s Christmas season. We really took in the season this year. It was good.

Here you can see an example of my lack of stress. There were tree branches that looked like this. My thought was when you have kids you should have tree branches that look like this, right?
