the day after the party

gifts littered the house, legoes were everywhere and all was good in the world. 

grandpa and brody stayed up saturday night building with legoes, and it was the first thing brody wanted to do on sunday morning.  grandpa is a good one for legoes.  he has built many a lego project with kelly, jill and me. 

aunt jill is the perfect fashionista to help the mini-fashionista, emersyn, with her new barrettes.  emersyn wanted to wear all four at once.  she was sure they all matched her outfit and took time to show us how.

brody and dad put together this awesome plane to take out flying.  the day after the party had gorgeous skies and temperatures.  it was perfect for flying a plane or getting dressed up for a sunday afternoon stroll.

yes, she’s definitely ready to go somewhere.  the beads glow in the dark so she and brody spent lots of time running in and out of dark rooms to check out the beads.  purely delighted squeals each and everytime they worked.  it was just one of those perfect kind of days.
