i just looked at my pictures, and i took NO (zero, none, nada) pictures in march! with how quickly the month passed and how little record there is of it, it feels as if it almost didn’t exist. well, except i think i’m still tired from whatever we didn’t do. welcome april and spring and happy easter! we had a fun, quick trip to victoria. the last time we were there was christmas! again, i repeat, what is happening to my time? you can see what happens to brody’s time at mimi and grandpa’s house. his first request when i mention that we’re going to their house is video games. they have a wii, and he’s an avid golfer, bowler, boxer and all things wii for a little while each day. he told me that grandpa even allows him to push all the buttons to get the game started. this is a BIG deal when you’re five years old!

emersyn spent the week before our visit drawing pictures, gluing, coloring, and painting pictures to give to mimi and grandpa. she was eager to tell grandpa about her artwork.
and then we moved onto the pool. brody and emersyn got in. it was a little cool for the adults so we stayed on the edge ready for a quick rescue if need be.
