I was doing great with the posts, and then BAMM the tiredness hit me, and I've been toast at night! We're taking advantage of Brody's interest in helping around the house right now. He LOVES feeding Shady his food every night and has gotten really good at hitting the bowl as he pours the food from the cup to the bowl. We had a few spills at first, and that made him good at picking up the little pieces of food and putting them back into the cup. I believe that helps him with fine motor skills and the pouring helps with something else so it's all a learning experience here. Of course, it's a lesson in patience for momma and dadda. These chores that once took 5 minutes to perform can now take up to twenty! But the pride on Brody's face when he's complete is worth it all!

one more thing...i have such a love-hate relationship with letting reese do things by herself for all the same reasons you do. the time, the learning and the patience! keep up the good work, mom and dad!
you've probably posted about this or told me, but i can't remember...is brody saying mom and dad or something of the like?
he does look proud!
