Nick shared his popsicles last weekend so Brody was able to try his first one. He loved it! Emily had a camera closeby so she snapped this great picture!
Brody had his 18 month visit late last week. He's 33.25" and 28.5lbs. He's growing like crazy, and we just can't keep enough milk in this house. Can you believe that he's already half my height. The doctor asked Erik about how many words Brody knows, and so we started counting later that day. We made it to 50 words that he pronounces so that we understand what he's saying. I know his vocabulary is growing daily not to mention his understanding of concepts. Yesterday morning he found a hair knot of Jersey's on the coffee table, and he was giving it back to her. How cool that he matched the white hair to the white cat. I don't think he knows colors yet, but he seems to be learning how to match. And just the other day, on a hot afternoon, he was leaning against the freezer door saying "cold." It was so cute!

so glad he's doing so well! reese and brody are about the same size. :) reese was 26 lbs and 34.5 inches just 2 months ago at her two year check up. i think she's grown since then though. matson goes for his, um, 9 week check up next week. ...not as diligent with the check ups with the second kiddo. i know he's doing totally fine. i'm just curious to know how much he weighs. he's a chunk! i think he's more like brody.
