erik bought brody this cool longhorn baseball bat and ball! it's already banned from the house, but he had lots of fun chasing after it outside this weekend. brody's so fast right now that this was the best pic i could get for now. i'll keep trying! any marks you see on his face are the result of him being under momma's supervision. what i thought was a small tumble off the porch ended up with a busted lip and skinned nose. ouch! i really didn't think he would have any injuries, but i was totally wrong. sorry little love :)

i'm writing this just so i remember it . . . this afternoon after church i was exhausted and sitting in the recliner watching a movie. brody noticed that i had my blankie so he ran to his room to get his, climbed up in the chair with me and snuggled in for a min. it was awesome! he also gave the baby a kiss or two today. so sweet little one!
