it seems like some days i have so much to say and some days so little! just today i realized that i'm nearing my third trimester! wow! time is just flying! i took two days off last week that we spent at home cleaning out, cleaning up and rearranging.
also i participated in my first craft show. after the first day i thought i wouldn't do it again. then i met a few girls that were more similar to me, had some good conversation and now it's up in the air as to whether or not i'll participate next year. i imagine life is going to be very different as we juggle two little ones! if you haven't seen my site yet, it's a work in progress, but it is official now! check it out: http://avenuebdesign.blogspot.com.
enough about me . . . the reason you come here is to find out what's new with brody! i must say that last night i thought i had just the sweetest boy. the weather was nice so we had the windows open, and he was running all around the house just laughing and happy. it was just one of those great nights that just feels good. he's learning to jump so we were practicing, and it just made him laugh and laugh and laugh!
he seems to know so much more than what we give him credit for these days. he still loves grapes so i asked him to get one bowl for his grapes. he went to the tupperware, pulled out his stack of bowls, took out the one that he wanted and put the rest back. i was so impressed that he knew what i was talking about and how to do it. i give erik lots of credit for these things because i know that he teaches him so much everyday.
something else funny is that he seems to understand what we're reading when we read a book. curious george books are his favorite right now. the other night we were reading a new george book for only the second time, and the book asks a question, and he knew the answer! i was so impressed. that little mind is ALWAYS working!
