happy new year!

for new year's eve we had an impromtu outing with the buratti's to tokyo steakhouse. we took brody and nick two years ago, and brody was a little intimidated by the fire. this time brody kept yelling "fire!" he enjoyed watching our table and all of the other tables have their food cooked in front of them, catching shrimp bites in their mouth and passing around a birthday cake in celebration of emily's birthday . . . also on new year's eve.
