a little post

i promise you that one of these nights i will sit down and post the christmas pictures. i don't have any from christmas at the holmlunds' house. i took two pictures, and then my battery died so i took it as a sign to just enjoy the night. and that's just what i did. meanwhile hilary took awesome pictures and definitely captured the mood of the day. we're so fortunate to have her amazing photography skills capturing our lives like this. check it out here and here and here. thanks for the great pictures hilary!



meanwhile here's a little fun from emersyn . . . does she look like a rockstar?! she still loves her accessories (as you can see) and she repeats and does everything that we do. one of my favorite things that she does is if you ask her if she needs help she says "i got it." LOVE IT!

and, i have to say that the girl knows her shoes. you ask her if she wants to put on her shoes, and she'll tell you which ones be it shoes, boots or nikes. and the girl knows her nikes! and mom's nikes and dad's nikes.

she still is very determined with what she wants, but her first response to something she doesn't want is the sweetest "no" you've ever heard. it's a long drawn out "nnoooo" with a super cute expression as she tries to win you over. fortunately she also loves to say "ok" and she says it just like that with a little lilt at the end of the very quick "ok."

there's so much more to her and so much i can't remember so i'll write down as much as i can and hope that all of you help me to remember the rest!
