we totally covered the counter, took off brody's clothes, limited him to 4 dipping colors and prepared for a ginormous mess. . . . he was clean! this is amazing because of his egg dying method . . . he dropped them into the dye from about 8-10 inches above the bowl. this way they made a cool "splash" when they landed in the dye. luckily, very little bounced out of the tubs and no eggs were harmed in the process.
and, once again, we've found an activity that the adults enjoy as much as the kids! oh, and did i say, i'm trying not to tell brody the "right" way to do things as often as i used to. unfortunately i believe i've passed on the extra advice to my husband instead. whoa, momma! if erik wants to dye eggs one way and me another way, that's just fine!! i tell you, i'm still learning!
